 | GROWING TOGETHER IN PRAYER |
| "My House shall be called a House of prayer" (Matthew 21:13)
At New Hope, we believe:
- Prayer invites the Holy Spirit into our midst as a congregation of believers.
- Prayer is foundational to all we seek to accomplish.
- Prayer is personal, enhancing our relationship with God.
- Prayer is to be encouraged in teaching and corporate settings.
- Prayer is a natural form of conversing with God.
- Prayer is a uniting force, bringing us closer to God and each other.
- Prayer is effective, God hears and answers our prayers.

Matt 21:22 "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
| New Hope's Prayer-Chain is standing with you:
Our church family prayer-chain is intended to support those who are waiting on the Lord in their specific situations and needs.
Prayer connects us to God and prayer-support strengthens this connection. "A family that prays together, stays together!"
Whether the need is for a family member in crisis, or for your own situation, in the midst of trials it can be difficult to remain focused on God. Prayer-partners can provide the needed intercession to help you to "keep on...keeping on", believing that God will hear our prayers and answer them in His time.
What is Intercession?
It is the act of standing in the gap between God and man through Jesus Christ in an attitude of prayer for others. When we are weakened by circumstances, prayer-partners (or intercessors) can "stand-in" and pray for us.
Isa 40:31
"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
